Designed by famous yacht designer David Thomas of Hunter Yachts, the Landau 20 is one of his most innovative designs. The hull, which has a very fine entry, is of a twin tunnel design which captures the bow wave in the tunnels creating a cushion of aerated bubbles causing minimal friction thus allowing the hull to get onto the plane and then be easily driven (a bit like running on ball bearings) and creating little or no wash (below 8kts), improving fuel consumption, directional stability and performance.
This particular boat is the Mk2 which has the upgraded hull and transom.
